Student Exit Counseling

Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans

Students who borrow under the Federal Stafford Loan program are required to complete Exit Counseling shortly before graduating, leaving school, or dropping below half-time status.

Note: Borrowers must complete their Exit Counseling online through Mapping Your Future.

Read the instructions on the next page, then click "Start" at the bottom of the page to begin the Exit Counseling session. Once you are finished, you will be required to complete biographical information that will be transmitted electronically to the school and your loan guarantor. Be sure to print the confirmation page you will receive at the end of the online counseling session.
