Student Exit Counseling

Students who have borrowed a Federal Stafford or Federal Grad PLUS Loan are required to complete Exit Counseling shortly before graduating, leaving school, or dropping below half-time status.

Click on the link below for the loan type you borrowed while at UConn. If you have borrowed from both loan programs, you will have to complete a separate exit counseling session for each loan type.


Note: Borrowers must complete their Exit Counseling online through Mapping Your Future.

Read the instructions on the next page, then click "Start" at the bottom of the page to begin the Exit Counseling session. Once you are finished, you will be required to complete biographical information that will be transmitted electronically to the school and your loan guarantor. Be sure to print the confirmation page you will receive at the end of the online counseling session.
