Appeal Workflow Questionnaire Welcome to UConn! The following questions will help you identify which appeals are relevant to your situation, ensuring you make the most of your time. Larger grants or scholarships from other institutions do not always mean a better overall net price. We recommend using your College Financing Plan in the Student Administration System (https://financialaid.uconn.edu/uconn-college-financing-plan/) to compare UConn’s offers to other financial aid offers you may have received from different colleges/universities. Please note that we do not match offers from other colleges or universities. A financial aid offer may consist of a variety of components: Undergraduate Admissions Merit Scholarships: These are determined by the Office of Undergraduate Admission. If you have received a merit scholarship, it will be included in your admissions offer. Promise Grants: These are available to eligible recipients of benefits from the New Haven, Hartford, or Waterbury Promise Programs. UConn’s commitment to the Promise Programs is considered fulfilled if you have received an Undergraduate Admissions Merit Scholarship. Promise Grants cannot be appealed through this form. School/College/Departmental Scholarships: Typically reserved for current university students and not often awarded to new First-Year/new Transfer students. School/College/Department Scholarships cannot be appealed through this form. Need-Based Financial Aid: These are based on the results from your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). It may consist of university grants, loans, and/or work-study.Did you receive an Undergraduate Admissions Merit Scholarship in your admissions letter?(Required) Yes No Congratulations on receiving an Undergraduate Admissions Merit scholarship!
