Net Price Calculator

The FAFSA for the 2024-2025 academic year is undergoing significant revisions, particularly in the way it calculates financial aid eligibility. As a result of these changes, the estimates provided by the Net Price Calculator may not accurately reflect what you can anticipate for the 2024-2025 academic year. We will regularly update the Net Price Calculator as new data becomes accessible to ensure more accurate estimations.

The Net Price Calculator is provided for your use as a tool to help plan for the expense of college. The estimates provided by the Net Price Calculator will provide you a general snapshot of what you can expect for planning purposes. However, your final offer will be based on the results of your FAFSA application and other applicable data. The estimate provided is based on cost of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year with basic financial circumstances similar to the information you provided.

The information provided, while helpful for planning, may only provide a partial picture of your particular circumstances. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year, and offers are determined on an individual basis. Grant and scholarship aid figures used do not include athletic grants or scholarships received from outside sources. Additional aid such as federal loan eligibility, while available for students and parents to utilize, is also absent from the financial aid estimate as it is aid that must be repaid after graduation. For more information on the types of aid available, please visit our website.

With the exception of some scholarships, a current FAFSA application is required to be offered financial aid (including student loans).  For more information on applying for Federal student aid, go to

The packaging of most forms of University of Connecticut financial assistance is reserved for FAFSA applications received and logged in by the federal processor on or before the on-time deadline of February 15. Please note that all packages are based upon the availability of funds.

Please note that University charges are billed on a term by term basis, whereas the Net Price Calculator will provide a yearly estimate. To assist in your budgeting, and to determine the approximate billing per term, divide the amount given by the number of terms (typically Fall & Spring).  Not all students receive financial aid.

By clicking below, I acknowledge I have read the above and understand that the estimate provided using this calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information to current and prospective students and their families and does not represent a final determination, or actual offer, of financial assistance, or a final net price.  The estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, UConn, or the State of Connecticut.
